Everyday we get to know new histories of young people that finished college and can’t get a job or if they can get one, most of the times, it isn’t in there area or for there level of qualifications. So, in this moment, we leave a reality that shows us young and qualified people working in supermarkets, in shops, etc.
This reality has an enormous influence in students. For those students that finished their studies and can’t get a job, this situation is very frustrating, because they ‘spent’ all their life studying to one day they could find a job and have a good life. And for those students that still are studying this problem also has a big influence because they start thinking that they are studying for nothing because they won’t be able to get a job, so it’s equal study or not, what is a wrong idea. If people qualified has difficulties to get a job, people without qualifications has even more difficulties to find one.
I think, nowadays, the world of work is a very difficult and competitive world, but I also see that not all students can’t get a job. There are some students, some very good students that when finish college have lots of jobs offers in their areas, because they aren’t equal to every other student, and this difference is in the way they think. They are ambitious students and they want to make the difference in this world, and of course they are very good in what they do. So I think that each one of us (students) should start thinking this way, and believing if they really want something, they will be able to achieve it.
We (students) will be able to get the job that we dreamed with, if we want make the difference!
